Standard Varmint Style Gun Stocks

This stock features a precision machined aluminum insert bedding block for total metal-to-metal fit. Virtually eliminates additional bedding and assures a perfect fit that will never change. It includes premium recoil pad and sling studs, and is also available without the aluminum insert bedding block. The stock features a slight beaver-tail forend although it is not as wide as the Premier Varmint forend.

Premier™ Weatherby-Style Thumbhole Gun Stocks

This thumbhole design combines the features of a thumbhole gun stock with the typical Weatherby styling. It has the identical Monte Carlo style cheek piece of a factory original Weatherby accented with a palm-swell thumbhole which provides for better grip and control.

Ruger 10/22 Rifle Stocks &Accurizing Conversion Kits

Rifle stocks made by Bell and Carlson, unless indicated otherwise, are designed to permit the customer to simply remove the barreled action from the original gun stocks and bolt it into the Bell & Carlson rifle stock. These "drop- in" gun stocks are designed to last a lifetime with no maintenance required. Because of variations in manufacturers' original equipment, it may be necessary to remove minimal amounts of material from the magazine area. Most factory barreled actions will bolt into  Bell & Carlson gun stocks with the barrel free- floating ; however custom contoured barrels may need some fitting which can be accomplished with standard woodworking tools. All Bell & Carlson gun stocks are available in any of the durable finishes listed on the following pages. Additionally, all gunstocks come with a premium recoil pad and sling swivel studs. A Pachmayr ® Decelerator® recoil pad is standard on some models and optional on others. Glass bedding, though not necessary, is optional, as well as pillar bedding and a full aluminum bedding chassis on our Medalist line of rifle stocks.  If you are going to bed your action in a Bell and Carlson stock or any of the other gun stocks, be sure to follow the bedding material manufactures instructions carefully. Bell and Carlson will not be responsible for any damage to their gun stocks caused by a customers attempt to remove the action from the stock after the bedding material has set up. Procedures for the proper application of a release agent to the action and other rifle parts prior to their contact with the bedding material that has been applied to the stock must be followed to the letter. If you are not sure how properly bed your gun stock, contact a qualified professional before proceeding.

The weight of Bell & Carlson gun stocks vary due to the large variety of models and sizes. Most hunting and varmint models weigh about 2 to 2.25 pounds. Tactical and one piece military models range from 3 to 4.5 pounds. 10/22 models are less than 2 pounds. Two piece models weigh about 2 pounds.

Bell and Carlson stocks are reliable over a temperature range of -50ºF to + 150ºF. All stocks are covered by a limited lifetime warranty.
